As a person-centered counselor, I incorporate cognitive behavioral techniques and feminist theory approaches in my therapeutic relationships. I believe that a genuine connection between clinician and client is essential to creating a trusting environment where positive change can occur.
I encourage clients to explore their strengths and identify their own path toward achieving goals by utilizing psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.
I work primarily with adults to address issues related to sexuality and gender identity, depression, anxiety and self-esteem, and to navigate relationship issues and life transitions.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Rowan University, and my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.
